Graduated in Oceanology (2001), Master's (2004) and PhD (2011) in Aquaculture from the Federal University of Rio Grande. He has experience in the area of oceanography and aquaculture, with an emphasis on marine fish farming.
He currently serves as a collaborating professor in the Graduate Program in Aquaculture - PPGAq at the Federal University of Rio Grande.
