  • Dr Dariano Krummenauer

    Graduated in Oceanology, Master and Doctorate in Aquaculture from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG). His doctoral thesis, defended in 2013, was directed to the development of sustainable production systems, being awarded the VALE - CAPES Award for science and sustainability and an honorable mention in the CAPES award for theses 2013.

  • Dr Jose Maria Monserrat

    Graduated with honors in Biological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1988. He received a master's degree in Biostatistics from the same University, having defended his thesis in 1993. He completed his doctorate in Biological Oceanography at the Federal University of Rio Grande - FURG in 1997. In 2013 completed postdoctoral studies in Metabolomics at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Charleston, United States.

    Licensed and bachelor biologist and doctor in Aquiculture from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG). He is currently Full Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) and professor at the Postgraduate Program in Aquaculture at FURG.

  • Dr Ronaldo Cavalli

    Graduated in Agronomy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS, Porto Alegre, RS (1987), Master in Renewable Natural Resources - Mie University, Japan (1990), and PhD in Applied Biological Sciences - Aquaculture from Ghent University, Belgium (2000).

  • Dr Wilson Francisco Britto Wasielesky Junior

    Graduated in Oceanology from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) in 1991 and Master in Biological Oceanography from FURG in 1994, where he joined as Assistant Professor I in June of the same year. PhD in Biological Oceanography by FURG in 2000 and Post-Doctorate at the University of South Carolina / Waddell Mariculture Center in 2005. He is the author of more than 170 scientific papers in indexed journals. He guides and mentored more than 120 undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of Aquaculture and Biological Oceanography.
