Graduated in Fisheries (1991) from the University of Ege (Turkey), Master in Marine Biological Resources (1998) from the University of Maine (USA) and PhD in Aquaculture (2007) from the University of Ege (Turkey).
Dr Gamze Turan, from the Ege University (Turkey), will develop research in the field of cultivation and biotechnology of macroalgae.
