Syllabus:

Importance: To provide subsidies for the understanding of natural phenomena such as biogeochemical cycles and the transfer of matter and energy in food chains.

Objective: To provide basic information on the ecology of aquatic microorganisms considering the characteristics, distribution, abundance and activities of microorganisms in aquatic environments. Its importance in the food chains and biogeochemical cycles of marine ecosystems.
