Syllabus:
Study of the ecology of aquatic microorganisms in aquatic environments and in aquaculture systems. Concepts about its characteristics, distribution, abundance and activity are presented; role of microorganisms in the decomposition and mineralization and biogeochemical cycles of marine ecosystems; transfer of matter and energy in the food chains and main concepts of ecology of microorganisms such as “Microbial Loop”; “Top-down” and “bottom-up”; "Sink" and "Link".
