Syllabus: The discipline aims to present a history of aquaculture, statistics on the production of different cultivated groups, in addition to the geographical distribution of aquaculture activities in the world. The content will also deal with issues related to the types of cultivation systems and types of structures and their respective construction models. Topics related to pathologies and processing of cultivated organisms will be addressed, in addition to the economic aspects of cultivation of aquatic organisms.
