Licensed and bachelor biologist and doctor in Aquiculture from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG). He is currently Full Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) and professor at the Postgraduate Program in Aquaculture at FURG.
Member of the Brazilian Society of Aquaculture and Aquatic Biology (AQUABIO) and the World Aquaculture Society (WAS) - Latin American and Caribbean Chapter. He has experience in the area of Aquaculture and works in the research lines of Marine Fish Farming, zooplankton production, water quality applied to aquaculture and aquaculture production systems with an emphasis on water recirculation systems. He is a CNPq research productivity scholarship - level 2. He is a columnist in the field of marine fish farming of the magazine Aquaculture Brasil. It is part of the Iberoamerican network LARVAplus (improvement in the production of fish larvae and juveniles) financed by CYTED, Spain.
