PhD in Biological Oceanography from the Federal University of Rio Grande, FURG (2011), master's degree in Aquaculture from the Federal University of Rio Grande, FURG (2008), degree in Oceanology from the Federal University of Rio Grande (1991).
He has experience in the area of Biological Oceanography, with an emphasis on Aquaculture, acting mainly on the following themes: design and management of crustacean production systems, water and soil quality, intensive storage, maintenance of breeding banks, biofloc technology. It provides technical assistance to producers and entrepreneurs and has experience in environmental licensing. He worked in several aquaculture enterprises for the production of marine shrimp, acting as a technical manager and also with training of specialized labor. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Oceanography at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), being a permanent member of the Postgraduate Program in Aquaculture at this institution.
