Dr Wilson Francisco Britto Wasielesky Junior

Graduated in Oceanology from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) in 1991 and Master in Biological Oceanography from FURG in 1994, where he joined as Assistant Professor I in June of the same year. PhD in Biological Oceanography by FURG in 2000 and Post-Doctorate at the University of South Carolina / Waddell Mariculture Center in 2005. He is the author of more than 170 scientific papers in indexed journals. He guides and mentored more than 120 undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of Aquaculture and Biological Oceanography. 

He is currently a researcher and Full Professor at the Institute of Oceanography at the Federal University of Rio Grande. He is the author of more than 170 scientific papers in indexed journals. He has experience in the area of ​​Fisheries Resources and Fisheries Engineering, with an emphasis on Marine Carcinoculture, acting mainly on the following themes: Reproduction and larviculture of marine shrimp, management of shrimp cultivation in nurseries and in biofloc systems.
